Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings

Off topic question ... sorry but I know some you might have computer/desktop audio setups.

Anyone using an RCA Stereo switch in your setup? <To switch a DAC's output from one device to another (example: speakers vs. headphone amp)>

Anyone have one of the below items?  Or something like it?

The reviews on one of the below items isn't reassuring and the other is very limited. Just felt someone here could add their opinions

Sescom SES-AUDIO-AB RCA Stereo Audio A/B Switch

Thanks ..

I want to upgrade from my actual Ibasso dx80. I listen only to acoustic music, only flac (no interest for dsd), and only with CIEM (actually a pair of 1964 V6).
I'm considering the Questyle, and the AK240 as an alternative. I have no chance to listen either of them before purchasing. Any suggestion, especially comparative would be very helpful.

The QP1R doesn't do all the fancy things as the AK240.  The QP1R sounds a bit better in my comparisons. It is also 1/3 the cost of the AK240. You listed your basic potential use for a player ... I think the QP1R is a better option for you .. you can always return it, if you don't like it

That does sound a bit irregular. But contact the dealer you purchased from and see if they will able to assist.

Thanks Netforce. I contacted the dealer, answer is yet to arrive.
Another question: is it ok to carry around the QP1R in the trouser pockets, especially in warm weather conditions? Or is it getting to warm?
I think it should be ok, since a mobile device

Regarding your question, it's perfectly okay to carry around the QP1R in your trouser/pant/short pockets, even if the weather is warm.

Thanks moedawg

I thought so. But sometimes the device really gets warm. So I wanted be sure

You'll be fine. Unless you are in Death Valley during the summer or to a lesser extent, 118 degree farenheit Palm Springs weather.

Looking good, longbowbbs, I like the W60 as well as their bassy W50 paired with the QP1R. :beerchug:
