Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings

May 5, 2016 at 9:59 AM Post #1,801 of 7,142
What is the difference between the headphone out, and the line out (when used non optical)? I thought line out is something like "un-amplified", but recognised, the eq settings sill have influence on the sound when used via line out (to an home system).

Try out adjustable line out too and play with the gain and volume settings. I found that gain settings do affect the volume. So I'm guessing it's amplified.

Not sure about max line out tho.

So I've got to pay for my scroll wheel to be reconnected after it was dislodged in a slight fall onto carpet. This is fair enough as technically it wasn't a manufacturing fault. It doesn't say much for the build quality though. Certainly not be fitting of a $900 product. Well you live and learn.
Make sure you NEVER drop this thing.

How much money is the bill for the wheel repair if you don't mind me asking?

I'm not sure yet....I've just been told it won't be covered by warranty 1 . because I bought it cheaper from the US ($400 less) and I live in Australia, 2. It technically isn't a manufacturing fault. Live and learn.

I bought the leather case for mine, aside from being easier to handle maybe it will help protect the unit in case of a drop.

Oh my god .. Just got my ue 18 pros .. I am in heaven ... Soundstage would have been better with JH13v2 but I am extremely happy ... I had to trim a tiny plastic bur (I am not spelling it correctly) from the left side ... ( tiny speck of plastic)

Playing the QP1R through my Angies while charging it with my portable Anker charger, but the QP1R has been stuck on 37% for 3 hours.
