Hi all,

After 6 months with my RE-400's the cable is faulty and I am returning and looking to get some replacements.

I like the sound of the RE-400's but the bass I found was too weak (maybe I wasn't getting a good enough seal?) and it would distort when I tried to put any boost in the eq.

I'm in the UK and looking for something around the same price point but maybe a bit higher for something with a bit more prominent bass and durability.

Any recommendations? I have my eye on the Shure se-315's.

If it's of any help, I love my ath-m50's at home.

Thanks

Dom

Make sure you never stress the cable. Even durable cables will eventually go bad if stressed.

If you thought the re400 was bass light, stay away from anything neutral and balanced.

You should ask here
