Going retro tonight ... was cleaning my gear and dug out my old Panasonic SJ-MJ10. Charged it from flat a battery - took less than 1 hour. Nice. The little player is well made and is functioning properly despite my not having touched it for 5+ years, since I got my first DAP (the iRiver H320) and went MP3.

I still have some music I have on MD that I don't have anywhere else, so am enjoying it! The MD player is driving my PX100 and doing a better job than say the Creative ZVM. Not bad.

Ahhh MD players...

Back in high school my friend had a MD deck in his car. I thought it was the coolest thing...

No, the below is a photo of a MiniDisc (MD)

I believe what you're talking about is the 3.5 inch CD. They used to release singles on those.

I have small CD singles too - loads of J-Pop stars released singles in that format. I have one containing the theme song of the original Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series.
