Restore Lossy Files to Lossless Quality?

Well other companies have certainly made that claim before. SRS Labs being one of them. Not hopeful, but curious.

Next your going to tell me that the five dollar bottle of hair growing tonic was a waste of money.

It's digital sound processing. Main function, IIRC, was to increase volume by 2-3db.

Isn't that the main problem with A - B comparisons? One amp, dap etc. is able to bump the volume up a bit and it sounds much better - clearer.

Yes, that is a problem. Volume matching. It's just louder, but it doesn't sound louder - it sounds better.
