Have you ever experienced a resonance distortion, possibly when the seal not perfect? I often hear that with audiobooks, but so far I haven't noticed it with music. It's not the recording because when I rewind and listen to the spot where it ocurred again the distortion changes or disappears, especially when I adjust the IEM in my ear. Also it's not symmetrical in both ears even though the audiobook is mono. I tried listening to a sine sweep and it can occur at a wide range of frequencies between 2-8kHz, not any one specific frequency

Well, around 8kHz we have the ear gain, so this might be created not by seal but by the IEM moving backs and forth in your ear? When that happens, can your try to stabilise them with your fingers to make sure they are inert?

I can't imagine how would they move back and forth in my ear at certain volumes and syllables in the audiobooks and how would this moving create the resonance distortion. I'll try to put a finger on it when it happens next time, but by doing that I might also fix the seal and thus prevent the resonance
