Directly inserting photo by uploading from PC and clicking "Full Size" instead of "thumbnail" STILL results in
thumbnail showing up in the post!

Thank you for reaching out. This is by design. With the recent update we set a max size for images in a thread. To view a larger version of the image, simply click it for a full-screen view.

With due respect, that is highly disappointing.
When we post a review or a comparative post with multiple photos on the same page, meant to be viewed as you read the complex text that explains the photo next to it, the entire Head-Fi experience is much more valuable compared to having to expend more time and energy by reading the text, then clicking on thumbnail to view the photo, then click back to re-read the text, click back on thumbnail, etc.

I sincerely hope the Head-Fi Admin agrees with my assessment and allow us to to post larger photos that can be seen directly without having to click on thumbnails and back. At least allow direct photo viewing and set the maximum photo size to a reasonable viewable size.

I brought your suggestion about the image sizing to our team and they're considering making an adjustment to the max image size. While we won't be going back to full-size images in posts, we are considering increasing the limit to something more substantial than the current setting.
