I saw this DVD this past weekend and all I have to say is WOW!

I thought it was an excellent movie. I own it myself, but don't know how often I'll be able to bring myself to watch it.

Ellen Burstyn's performance, in particular, was amazing, and Marlon Wayans suprised me.

It's is a good movei, very powerful. Good acting all round and it really got the message across, much better then trainspotting I think.

It really is a well made movie, especially in terms of cinematography and sound. Buy the soundtrack- it's wonderful!

Since this is somewhat of a niche film, how many of you saw Darren Aronofsky's other film, Pi? That too is an excellent movie.

Oh yeah, Requiem was WAAAAYYY better than Trainspotting.

I saw pi and liked it as well. Darren has a real feel for moviemaking... his movies have a real flavor to them

I saw it three times in the theatre. Gettin me to pay to see a movie twice means I loved it. Three times...a certified cajunclassic.

I though Trainspotting was trying to be too hip. It didn't send the clear message that Requiem did.

I haven't seen pi, but I will try to pick up a copy this week. I will also get the soundtrack for Requiem.

acidtripwow - you can find Pi at bestbuy for $9.99. Not sure if other places have it that cheap, just a heads up.
