EDIT: Answered my own question - Google is my friend. J river uses the original Replaygain standard of 83 dB SPL

I've been using Foobar for a long time, and recently decided to give J River Media Center a go.
I use WASAPI - optical - Benchmark DAC1 HDR as the chain.
I have a large folder of loose tracks I use as a sort of jukebox, and an identical file played through each player with Track Gain enabled results in J River being significantly lower in level. I have both software player's volume controls set to 100% (and tried the other options in J River, including disabling the control, which did not alter the level). No preamp in Foobar, no other options applied in J River.
Both programs are using the same file, reading the same Replaygain tag, yet the levels differ. Does this matter at all, and for my own info, does anyone know why this occurs?
Thanks.
