I am not the original owner of this Micca Origen+ so I can't send the unit for repair. Everything works fine except, as you can see in the pics, the optical port has come out of place. It has 5 metal pins, 2 in front, 3 in back, that go into the circuit board, but the front 2 have come out of place, hence the reason it came loose and moves around. I tried pushing them back in place but it seems like the front 2 legs are too short and are bent out of place and I can't re-align them properly.

I found this (https://www.digikey.com/product-det...tronics-co-ltd/PLR135-T6/1080-1435-ND/2693965) replacement optical port online and was wondering if anyone could confirm that this is indeed the same piece. If so, could I just buy it and swap it for the bent one? I've never done anything like this before, so I have no idea what to expect. Any guidance is appreciated, thanks.

Hiya, yes, that looks OK, these are fairly standard. The Everlight part has some bumps on the bottom which may raise it a bit higher off the PCB, if it is too high with them then they can be shaved off. Check the PCB is OK, it's obviously had some force on it, those pins shouldn't come freely if the soldering is good, more likely to damage the PCB.

If you're going to have to take it out and solder a new one in anyway, the pins will be easier to straighten once it's out with some needle nosed pliers, it might be worth trying to recover it that way first.
