The wax guard on the left side of one of my IEMs recently fell out without me knowing, and I can no longer find it. I've tried sourcing replacement parts, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. It uses a fairly dense mesh screen, but I find that there's a bit of treble roll off with the screen compared to the side without the screen.
I was thinking of just taking out the wax guard on the other side, but I'd still like something to cover up the tube leading to the driver. Are there any DIY materials I can use that will give me a bit more treble compared to the mesh screen, while still providing protection against ear wax and sweat?
Thanks for all your help
