First this is the complete setup:

Source: PC

Output via non amped audio port from the SBZ > (3.5mm adapter to RCA) FiiO E09k > stereo receiver for speakers via line out + front headphone jack output (on the E09k)

I have it setup like this for 3 reasons.

1) I need hardware volume control/a volume knob
2) I dont want to be switching sources to use headphones or speakers
3) I dont want to crawl under my desk to unplug my headphones constantly. Already annoying enough for the microphone (a main reason for buying the Fulla 3).

My microphone does plug into the SBZ.

Issues/complaints:

1) The FiiO seems to have imbalanced audio for the headphones. It changes noticeably when changing the volume. They drive my DT1990s and honestly for these high end of headphones its an annoying defect.
2) I have to crawl under my desk to unplug my microphone for when I LAN.

I would assume the Fulla 3 would solve my issues.

The question really... Would there be audio improvements? Do you think it is worth it?

Possible downside(s):

1) Lose global EQ.

Schiit Loki is a possible solution, but it is $150...Would the best setup be Fulla + Loki? What about the Sound Blaster G6 as an option?

So thoughts? Solutions?

Thanks!
