i was thinking of replacing the input/output caps on my riovolt sp50 pdcp with some higher-quality ones. two questions though:

1. will this improve sound quality?
2. what brand of capacitor should i get?

just look at the markings on the caps and replace them with the corresponding cap with a higher value. ie: if you find some 220 uf 16V caps, you can try replacing them with Panasonic 470/1000 uf FC series caps. they are in stock at digikey. just look closely on the caps to tell what you should replace. also check out tangent's "Tweaks" page to see how he modded his cMoy to give you an idea on how you can go about upgrading your pcdp. i am not that sure about this modding stuff so someone will have to clarify.
