Replacing 2.0 Speakers

i have Techniks SB-F2

and connected to my computer to audigy SE ( might buy xonar dg 5.1 in near future ).
 
I need to change my speakers cause one of them broke down, my budget is arround 150dlls. ( i live in argentina)
 
i use my pc for games music and movies ( so everything ) 
 
I wanted something that sounds as goos as my previous speakers, but can manage to mantain the quality at higher volume ( my technics sounded GREAT at low volumes, but distorted when tryting to listen at high volume )
 
Questions:
1) Should i get bookShelf or floor standing speakers
 
2) minimum wattage recommended ( besides de 50w that the amp requires)
 
3) do i have to get 8ohms speakers or i can buy other type ?
 
4) how con i differentiate between good / mediocre / bad speakers ? ( for example, are these good ? :http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-446852711-baffles-klh-made-in-usa-60-rms-nuevos-en-caja-microcentro-_JM )
 
5) can you givme anykind of recommendation or complete guide to understand mor about speakers and make a good buy

speaker buying is basically trial and error.
if there is information in the theile small parameters that prove audio quality is there, i dont know about it.
 
i looked at the specifications of the amplifier and it doesnt say if the amp will work with a 4 ohm load .. so with that said, probably better to stick with the 8 ohms.
 
as far as bookshelf or floorstanding .. you didnt say why you are considering the difference.
is it the height you are after or maybe because 3-way speakers are easier with floorstanding compared to bookshelf?
 
to be honest..
a person could build a 4-way bookshelf speaker with a custom crossover, because most crossovers dont include seperation for a subwoofer .. but there are crossover calculators on the internet to help build a custom one to include the subwoofer.

you could use a small tweeter, a dome midrange, a small 2 or 3 inch woofer, and then a 3,4,5,6 inch woofer and throw it all into a bookshelf size speaker and get better bass extension than some of the 2-way and 3-way floorstanding speakers.
 
lots of people dont realize there is power readily available from their amplifier to power a subwoofer if only the crossover would seperate those frequencies and send 'em to the subwoofer instead of sending 'em to the woofer.
and
most people who make their own speakers will simply tell you to tune the port with the box size right the first time and you will get solid bass from the woofer without needing a subwoofer.
to get big bass requires a bigger speaker box in relation to the port to get the tune lower than the usual 30hz - 40hz
 
i've heard small speaker cones, like 3 inches, pour out bass that suprises any audio enthusiast .. except the speaker box was pre-built and wouldnt play as low as wanted.
 
the only problem i think you would come across is the amount of power for each speaker.
if your tweeter & midrange has a maximum of 30 watts RMS .. but the subwoofer wants 75 watts RMS .. then your subwoofer might fall short as to playing less loud than everything else simply because it is thirsty for more power .. yet you should still get some output simply because the box is tuned to magnify the lower bass tones.
and you could always use an equalizer to lower everything but the subwoofer frequencies to help match the output level .. but your maximum volume dB would then be less.

1.  That depends on your receiver/amp, your size contraints, future expansions..etc
2. That depends on the sizeof your room...your receiver..etc
3. That depends on the receiver and what your speaker outputs are..
4.  I would go to a forum, that deals more withthe products you are interested in.  Not saying there are not speaker users here, but depending on what you want to buy, a HT forum might be
a more informative place for you.
5.  I think most have just learned by reading and talking with people and building systems over the years.  Star by looking at products within your budget, read some reviews(if available) talk to some owners..etc.
 
Just a few questions, do you have any other amps/receivers?
 
Do you have any older gear kicking around, like a sub in the attic, or some towers speakers in the basement that you could possibly use to help save on budget?
You don't have avery big budget but it might work for new used bookies or used towers.  Issues is,if you go with bookshelf, you will eventually need a subwoofer also.
Given your stereo amp, perhaps a used set of towers would be the best way to go, given your budget.
