Hi All,
I'm a noob here, so please excuse, but my left ear finally stopped getting music and I need some new earphones.
I liked the e3's I had - and with the medium silicon bud they were major comfy.
I listen at work using my iPod (old photo version) to block out the background
Tastes are BROAD - Traditional folk, bluegrass, punk, rock, classical - just about everything except opera.
Isolation is good, but the active noise cancelation makes me dizzy.
The question is, of the nicer, but cheap phones (sub 100 bucks), what am I most likely to like? I definitely like clarity, and good separation of the instruments, and am not a bass fiend. I know there are a lot of good ones, and had in reading tried to boil it down to a short list, but now I gotta turn to the experts on what will do best with my set up (ie no amp or anything special):
Klipsch s4
Thinksound Rain
RE0
UE 4's ??? (just now on sale
)
any others??
Thanks
Dave
