Replacement valves/tubes for Stax SRM-006tII

Assumed it was a pinout of the socket rather than the plug.

Am measuring 2.54v across the left channel, and 3.32v on the right channel. Both measured when the amplifier was very warmed up(several hours).

Should I attempt to level them off? If so, should they both be the same value(e.g, 2.5v), or should both be reading as close to 0.0v as possible?

Thanks,

~Phewl.

0v is ideal. 2 or 3 volts of dc offset is OK, but you can do better with a little trial and error

The 2 controls are somewhat "interactive" so its best to make SMALL adjustments to each one alternately until you get the hang of it. Each time getting closer to perfectly biased.

I shall whip the cover off and see if I can get it any closer. Thanks!

This part of spritzer's guide seems very important and is worth repeating:

Be very careful inside the amp because there are some hundreds of volts floating around.

I certainly wouldn't try to lick anything inside there but the standard rules of working on tube amps apply.
