I bought my ath-A500 about 4 years ago and the leather-like material has started cracking and i need to replace them. I was wondering if there are pads other than this material that is prone to crack, and if so what material is it and where can i purchase it? Thanks!

It's kinda pricey but the W5000 pads would fit and be of much better quality.

Do they use the same material that was on my A500s or is it actual real leather?

edit: also will the quality of sound be the same, increase, or decrease once i put these pads on? Thanks!
