[Catastrophe]

Hi guys,
 
I have unfortunately lost my Sony Z 1060 that was purchased 2 years ago and now in the market for a new player. Just wondering if there's any new models for a reasonable price around the $300 range I should consider as a replacement? The ZX1 sounds really good, but not sure if it'll be something suitable for me if I mainly listen to MP3s and only have a Shure SE215. What type of earphones do I need that will do the ZX1 justice?
 
Hopefully I find something more affordable though, what is the successor to the Z? I really liked it while I had it.

I appreciate the offer, but I suppose the new F886 is around the $350 price range as well. Anyone know if that is much of an improvement over the Z?
