I've been through numerous pairs of these EP630s, now I'm ready to move on. I really liked the EP630's sound, although there wasn't enough bass, it's built really weak and just breaks easily. I'm now looking at the $20-$30 range for an IEM with better sound and build quality and is available in the UK. Thanks in advance :)

I would look at the Meelectronics M9. $30 should be enough to have them shipped over to the UK and Meelec runs discounts and specials on their own site every once in a while.

I second that MEElectronics M9 suggestion.  Great set of IEM's for the price.  I used to own 630's and I think the M9's are a great (and less expensive) step up based on your needs.

The M9s are $37 with postage, and I'd have to import them. The UE Metro-Fi 220 seem like much better value at $26 and I don't have to import, plus there's a 2 year limited warranty with it.

Not if he wants more bass than the EP630.

Oh, right.

I haven't heard too many IEMs, if you're willing to up your budget a bit, Ninjax (isn't that a pokémon's name? lol), I can definitely vouch for the JVC FX300. Their bass is more and much better than EP630, especially with Sony hybrid tips and their sound is much fun with very good clarity in the mids and decent detail. They particularly excel with female vocals, really great. I still love mine even though my main three (Hifiman RE0 & RE252, and Monster Turbine Pro Copper) are much better.

Lol, not really... btw, nice Stark avatar.
The JVC FX300 look really good, but are out of my price range for earphones.

I want to get the UE Metro-Fi 220 but don't know if they are better than the EP630/CX300.

Apparently, Ninjask, is a Ghost/Bug type pokemon with the ability to evade most attacks and only has 1HP.
Da fug?

You sure you can't increase your budget a bit? You won't regret it.
