As the title suggests, looking for recommendations for my UE TF-10s.. OEM cables crapped out and I need a minimalistic replacement cable.
- Back in the day, I remember people recommending DarkLord or Sunricky cables, but now it seems like it's nothing but fakes on Ebay.
- I've also read so much terrible reviews on the Fiio's that I don't want to go that route.
- I don't know if Chris_Himself is still in business , but I ordered from him a few years ago — the cables came 2 weeks late, communication was really spotty, and ultimately he made the freaking wrong cable for me. I didn't want to go through the trouble of doing a return (I doubt I'd be getting it anyways since it was hand-made), so I just sold it on here at a loss.
WANTS:
I need memory wire in the ear lobe (just like the original TF-10 cable).
I don't mind braiding, just as long it's not too intrusive (I'll be running in these), and absolutely no sheathing.
Straight plug - no L shape connection.
Durability/longevity
My budget is less than $100 (please).
So that being said, can anyone recommend me anything? Haven't seen much activity on here regarding WHERE you guys have been getting your aftermarket cables these days...
