I got a lovely pair of IE8's off this forum a few years ago and they've been my daily driver for all my audio needs ever since. The cable on the right IEM frayed right where it to the IEM and I had it MacGyver'd together to hold to where it still worked but a few days ago that cut out on me.
So TL;DR I need a new cable.
The replacement ones from Sennheiser are like $41 with shipping and that's just a little high for me for just a cable. I'm wondering if there are any alternatives that are perhaps a bit cheaper. I've seen quite a few listings on eBay for replacement cables but I honestly know very little about this kind of thing.
Any help you guys can throw my way would be awesome.
