Which HD435 is it?

There were the HD435 Vegas/Manhattan models that came out in the mid-90's and the new HD435 that as been out for a year or two.

I have the HD435 Vegas and the cable isn't detachable. I understand the newer HD435 has a detachable cable. If you do have one of those, what does the connector look like?

In the headphone end there's a 3,5mm stereoplugg.
I made my replacement wire from GAC-4 microphone cable wich I cross connected. Just remember to find a 3,5mm plugg small enough to fit, if I don't remember wrong, maximum diameter is 7mm.

Sorry about all mm measures, only familiar with metric system.

Same question - is it the 435 Vegas or Manhattan or the new one?

The cable is part # 515261 (Cable detachable HD435) and should be available through any Sennheiser distributor worldwide.
