I have had an order with Mouser on hold now for 2 weeks all because of one lousy part.

I've had enough of waiting and want to find an available replacement part for Q31-33, buffer driver transistor 2N5088 (Mouser ID: 512-2N5088_J61Z).

I would preferably like a part equal or better in performance. If its anything inferior then I'm better off waiting!

I would be most grateful for any help anyone can offer.

2N5089 will work in most instances. Also useful are 2N5210, 2N4401, BC549.

I used the BC549 so i just reverse the pin out

Hopefully it will do the job!
