So my samson sr850s just died (the 3.5mm jack wore out) and I have looked all over Ebay and amazon and can't find any QUALITY parts they all have been cheapos that look like they won't last a day of light use or just sitting if anyone has a store or part they can recommend me then please do. I don't care if they are 2.5mm 3.5mm or pentagons i just need a decent plug.

Eidolic stuff is good:

Switchcraft or REAN (aka ‘budget switchcraft’) are also good, as are Amphenol. Very common in studio settings and the like. Places like mouser or other electronics parts suppliers will carry them.

If you have more money that sense there’s always Furutech:

Plusssound has their own stuff they use on their cables, which look good:

You may also want to check the DIY forum threads about making headphone cables for tips and sources and such.

Slight correction - where I wrote ‘Switchcraft’ read ‘Neutrik’. Though switchcraft should also be Ok
