So I was looking at getting a soundcard for my computer to replace the onboard sound, but then someone suggested I might be better off with a USB sound interface.
I currently have active monitors connected to a small mixer, which accepts analog inputs from my computer as well as from a turntable. But if I'm not overlooking anything, then it looks like this box could both serve as a soundcard upgrade as well as a replacement for my mixer:

It has analog inputs on the back, which could take the turntable input. And supposedly the USB interface should give me better sound than my motherboard's onboard sound.
Thoughts?
