Greetings Forum, I would appreciate some advice. Getting intermittent sound right ear from Vsonics. Can send to Hong Kong for repair but time and cost unknown. Saw ad for Hifiman RE600 for around $200(AudioAdvisor) or the Sennheiser IE80 from legitimate dealer (Sonic Electronics) for $250 or so. Both prices are about 60% of original selling price, so to a degree I am equating original high cost with quality. Probably not worth time and money send the vsonics out for repair...anyone have any experience with this? Regarding the Sennheiser or Hifiman could you advise...or recommend others in the under $275 price range?
