Hey guys,
unfortunately my cat chewed through the cable of my beloved Beyerdynamic dt880. The damage is very close to the cup, so I am not sure if it's fixable. I have never soldered anything in my life before, but obviously I could try to learn if it means fixing my headphones instead of dishing out another 300$ for new ones. Some pics of the damage:
