repair etymotics

I've experienced dropouts in my right channel with my er-4s's.
Has anyone had the same problem, & if so, have they successfully repaired them?

Well, I just replaced my entire cord with one from fixup.net. If your cord is bad, then this would definately be the best solution. BTW - the cord itself is 100 times better then the stock one. You will be amazed.

At the very least you can try pulling out and inserting your connecters to the earphones to see if that fixes the shorting. Be careful, though - you don't want to break the pins. You can check out fixup.net for pics of what this will look like.
