Hey, someone just accepted my offer on ebay, and I should be getting some of the coveted Denon AH-D5000's! Awesome!

Although they should be arriving in good condition, they still have a few nicks and scratches in the wood. Understandable - similar to the chrome on old touches, a small scratch wipes off the coating and makes things look much worse than they actually are.

So, can you guys recommend some Brasso for wood? Someone mentioned Carnauba Wax - is that a good idea? I don't want resin affecting the sonic signature.

Anything else I should be aware of? I would like to keep these in good condition, considering their rarity.

Thanks guys!
