Though I rarely find myself on the same page as Steve Jobs, I have to tip my hat to him for his recent comments concerning DRM.

That said, I just re-read the illegal Sticky at the top of this forum. Right you are, it's plain enough. Not sure if it is specifically talking about what I want to do but I'm sure it's close enough that this thread is on the borderline.

I withdraw, perhaps one of the mods can delete it.

Check out a product called Tunebite ( http://www.tunebite.com/ ). It will remove DRM from your legally purchased sound and video files.

burn to cd and then re-rip in a lossless format. big file but legal and drm free.
