With Sony's high quality and high quality sound,I think iRiver will lose its market.

Those two models have already been replaced with successor models. The current NW-E## models officially sold in the US are the NW-E75 ($149.95), NW-E95 ($169.95) and NW-E99 ($199.95) - with 256MB, 512MB and 1GB, respectively. Unfortunately, the 256MB model still requires MP3 files to be converted to ATRAC3 or ATRAC3Plus format - and the other two are currently sold only at SonyStyle USA until 1 January 2005 (after which other resellers will start carrying them). The only good thing about the 512MB and 1GB models is that they can play MP3 files directly (but other audio formats still must be converted to ATRAC3 or ATRAC3Plus format).
