I was hooping to find a general feedback thread so I won't have to create a new thread just to report a minor issue.
And the issue is basically this: the text captcha on the registration page is very difficult to read properly, especially the letters which are at the edges of the black/white blotches.
I refreshed the image dozens and dozens of times in order to get one which I could cope with and it took me literally 15 minutes of continuous tries to finally input a matching text.
I'm not in my prime anymore and I wear glasses, so perhaps I struggle a bit more than most. But I never needed more than one try on other websites, their captchas were more readable. On head-fi they were not 100% readable. Usually 2 or 3 letters from the texts I had to guess, not read.
I know they're meant to minimize spammers, but please consider the fact people with less than 20-20 vision will have a very hard time with this and would appreciate a more friendly version of the text captcha.
