LOL. You can hate star wars, but you must love star trek. I wouldn't buy the jupiter neither, but I am desperately seeking for an Apollo. And Rega is working on a new version of the jupiter. Never know, it might look like the x-wing.

Planet 2000 is the same. I never noticed that. Cool.

All Rega players use the same transport, so they have the same look. The lead designer must be a star trek fan. He must have a dog named Spock.

By the way, if anyone is selling their Apollo, please let me know.

Funny, I just used an Apollo the other day when trying out some k701's, K601's, and HD650's. I had to ask the shop owner how to open it LOL (I felt Dumb). i thought I would break something, but it works similarly to a PCDP (to my surprise), just pop the top

.

I think it's weird that it doesn't play music when you fast forward it though. It wouldn't ever effect my usage, but it's still weird.

It sure is, cuz the Planet 2000 does play music when fast forwarding as any player should. How on Earth does one know when to stop fast forwarding without hearing anything? Are you sure the Apollo unit was not defective?

Well that's a good question and hard to say. It was the first time I had ever used one. It was a demo unit that the shop always has hooked up to one of the headphone amps.

It would be a good use for a defective unit if that is the case.
