Well, the one thing I have learned with Rega is that they when they put out a new model it's usually a worthwhile upgrade. Although the price-tag is kinda steep for me..

I would rather go the music-server (the future) route...

So, this thing is $8000? Wow. This thing costs more than Re1 + Phoenix + MacPro + HD800 combo that I have.

It's no way I can afford it, but 8K isn't so expensive when Burmester 069 costs 50K or Goldmund Reference II costs 300K

Just playing my new (used) Isis. Wonderful music coming out of it I have to say. Less analytic than my Bryston bcd1 but just as foot-tapping and country mile ahead of my McIntosh MCD550
