Rega EAR Headphone amp. Any comments? How is the sound? What headphones does it suit best? How much should one expect to pay for a used one?

ANyway last heard........ the new Rega Ear comes with metal chasis instead of plastic.

In a nutshell the Rega sounds like what it is - a solid state amp. It is clear, detailed, punchy, dynamic, can be bright and harsh sometimes. It doesn't sound like a tube amp at all which it is not. It does not sound warm, tubey, or luscious.
