I wonder if anyone has done a direct comparison? I own the Cary Xciter integrated and use it exclusively with phones. For the last six months I've been using the Rega DAC. I love Rega products for their analogue and musicality, but I'm still endlessly curious about the Cary DAC. I'm a big believer in synergy, but I have no real complaints about the Rega. The Cary may just be a lateral move, aside from the synergy aspect. Still, I'm curious. Anyone done a direct comparison? Thanks.
