Hey guys, I have the chance to get a 60GB iPod and get it redwined. What I am wondering is will I notice an SQ diffrence between this and my 5G. Will it really be worth the switch and paying a little bit more? I have heard nothing but great things so I want to hear your guys' opinions. Also, how long does it usually take to get Redwined?

there are a lot of threads about the sound improvement one sees (hears) with the imod.

as far as time, vinnie received my ipod on a thursday or friday and had it in the mail by monday. it's fairly quick.

you can also send in a new battery with your ipod and he'll replace it for you. i almost did that but i still get almost 9 hours of continuous play with my 4G so i didn't spring for a new battery...

i highly recommend it...it's a definite improvement for one's portable listening rig...

I am very interested in getting my 4G iModded and getting an amp. However, I can't justify it without hearing one first. Is there anyone nearby who has a 4G iModded, and any kind of portable amp?

I officially hate ebay. I bid on a 60GB ipod photo for $140 and within the last 4 seconds someone outbid me $1.

Bid the max you are willing to apy, and you don't have these problems. It isn't Ebay's fault.

$141?!!! are they going that low? i was happy to get my brand new one for a little over $200 since even the used ones were around 200 or so.

anyway, huge iMod fan here. simply amazing. i still shake my head in wonderment that i can have such terrific fidelity in a portable package.
