It has been a really long time since I've listened to Lucious Jackson, mainly cause it's been a long time since I've done any CD listening, and it didn't rip properly in iTunes. I recently found a better program for ripping in OS X called Max, so I just ripped it in. I'm listening to it now through my Alf's USB DAC > Millet Hybrid > K701 and it is just sublime. It sounds so smooth and it just flows so well. It has a body and a mood that I never experienced with Lucious Jackson before..
Has anyone else had this experience, where they listened to an old CD that previously they were underwhelmed by, but on their new equipment is just floored by?
