I had thrown my ATH-M50s in a drawer because I had not found a replacement Ear Pad that had the original Sound but with added comfort .
From Dekoni to Brainwavz nothing sounded good plus with the passing of time the headband pad was falling apart.
Then I saw a pair of pads from wicked cushions for $20 plus a cover for the Headband for $10 and now I've been listening to them for a week and all the high end open Sennheiser's and Hifiman etc have stayed in their cases .
I had forgot just how good the Bass and highs are on these .
And I almost tossed these out .....
