How 'bout being a Royals fan? 60-96 ... they'll have to play .500 ball the rest of the way to avoid 100 losses. (Okay, it's only six games, but still. ...)

Shows you're a mainie. The team isn't a bunch of losers, it's the curse. It will be up this next year as it will be 100 years since the first-ever World Series, which the Red Sox won.

RedSox losers? 90 wins?

The real losers are the teams that don't care if they win or not because the stupid fans will support them anyway, the Cubs being the never ending example (Is the ball park the Only reason to go to a Cubs game? The team almost always stinks).

Also, you don't always need alot of money to compete, just smart management. Look at the A's or even the Giants here in the bay. If the Giants don't make it this year I'd love to see the A's take down the Yanks. Revenue share that!
