So, I rather enjoy my vintage headphones, and was considering picking up some quadraphonic headphones, but then realized that I haven't a clue what recordings would these even benefit from.
Thoughts?

Quad music never really took off. There were several different formats competing against each other. It also meant people had to upgrade their gear to make it work.

All of the old Quadraphonic headphones I've seen use paper cone drivers, these are of very poor sound quality compared to plastic membrane drivers.

To answer your question, youll need to invest in vinyl or 8-track equipment and a Quadraphonic amplifier or decoder as well as new copies of any LPs you may already have to get the Quad versions, if Quad versions exist.

Theres a lot of Quad LPs out there on eBay.
