Hi Guys. I'm passionate by this project, just bought 2 matched mono Primo EM258 and two rodes VXLR+. The impulcifer wiki talk about an y splitter but since each mono EM258 has his own jack plug, the y splitter isn't necessary no ? Thanks

EQ-APO can't use sofa files but you can extract the channels at the correct angles and convert them to wav. There is a API for matlab, python and ffmpeg that can do this.

also, i'm very interested to someone that uses impulcifer to compare mesh2hrtf and hopefully dolby phrtf to let us know what's best in what situation... surely an iphone X is much cheaper for me than buying stereo microphones+speaker+audio stuff
also, how can windows recognize all the channels dolby does?

iPhone 10 has a more detailed true depth camera I’m lucky to have both iPhone 10 and 13 pro and I can tell the iPhone 10 is better more detailed.
Still think impulcifer will be better because it’s not simulated but actual sound entering your ear.
Regarding the Dolby I don’t think we can get height channels I’ve asked many times lol

what's the meaning of "2 matched"? do i have to buy the 2 matched version or 2 of the single? also what audio interface have you used with these?
for proper measurements, how did you plug them in the ears?

Get 2 matched they will be frequency matched.
I used the Behringer U-PHORIA UMC202HD
Glued the mics to some foam. There are pictures in this thread and many examples.
