Hey,

I am in need for a program which will allow me to record a direct copy of what is being played at the same moment in the pc. what program can I use?

Actually, I'm not sure on this but, you propably can record w/ (least) any ASIO software if you mange to set the 1212M record using 'What U Hear' port (doesn't 1212M use same ASIO driver than SB cards uses --> "ASIO Mix L" is the ASIO version of "What U Hear" functionality).

Might try audacity(sp). I can record my google talk convos with it. idk if that is the kinda thing you are looking for though...

I always used Audacity when I recorded "what you hear". It's great for simple stuff like cutting out leading or trailing silence and for saving into multiple file formats within the program. The best part is that it's free
