Hi everyone,
I am looking for a DAC in the price range of $1200 to $1500 that does not have USB or a headphone amplifier. I would like Balanced out, but not critical.
The Anedio D2 is of interest, but I will not use the USB or the Headphone amp. I plan to use the DAC to play my music collection (flac) residing on a NAS from my Sonos ZP80 player connected to my Anthem AVM20 and my Acoustic Zen Addagio speakers.
I do not have a requirement to connect the DAC to a computer, nor do I listen to music using headphones. I know that the Anedio D2 is probably the best DAC out there right now at that price point, but I am wondering if there is anything else which is as good or better without the features that I will never use.
