I recently built an 18v CMoy based off of this layout, and I was wondering what the best opamp chips for this would be. I had a 4556 but I recently toasted it on accident, and since shipping is so expensive, I thought that I should order a couple different chips to justify the shipping cost, but I have no idea what to get. All I know is that I need something that can be powered with 18v, and I dont want to spend more than $5 on a chip.

Where would i buy one of those? mouser.com does not have them in stock, i already checked, and digikey only has them available for bulk packaging of 2000 or more.

They have the DD version which is the one you want http://ie.mouser.com/ProductDetail/NJR/NJM4556ADD/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtOXy69nW9rM7eZQ3tVlm91%252b6xAp5LC9zs%3d

I've always liked the LM4562 in DACs but never tried one in an amp http://ie.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Texas-Instruments/LM4562NA-NOPB/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtCHixnSjNA6JlKxGj6zye%252bDw5UwZXQkUk%3d

to agree with Macandmar, they go by different names depending where you buy them.
NJM4556 is the same thing
