Can you share your experiences in pairing headphones successfully with the Mytek Manhattan (I or II, since they have similar characteristics)? With roots in the mastering industry, the Manhattan has unreal detail retrieval, but can be quite forward when matched with the wrong cables and headphones. Users find it a bit of a thoroughbred, requiring much more care than even the Mytek Brooklyn when pairing with other gear in the system.

So far I've heard or experienced these results below. I'd welcome any feedback on these or others and how would you describe the sound profile of that headphone with the Manhattan.

- Focal: Excellent detail, but vocals and high freq can be a bit brittle.
- Senn HD800: Similar to Focal results. I'm curious if anyone has tamed the HD800 on the Manhattan with a different cable.
- Hifiman HE1000 and X: A cross between the Focal and Audezee. More fluid, but sometimes in need of the right cabling, to add a bit of color.
- Audeze LCD3 and X: A very nice balance between the ease of the Audeze and the aggressive nature of the Manhattan.
- Grado: Heard a lot of positive raving, but not much about the details.

Thank you
