Hello Friends..
Im a happy owner of Wa6se/AKG 702..I've had this combination for few years now, and been happy about it. At the time I wanted to hear more SS sounding, accurate, well defined cymbals in my jazz recordings. I never tried a different amp, except for the headphone out on my Apogee Quartet.
Now I'm getting curious about amps that are less accurate, but more fun.. Do you have any recommendations for "Tubey" amp under $500??
