I intend to recable some DT770's - I was planning Mogami 2543 ( think that is the right part number ). With the rubber sleeving it is pretty hefty, so I'd rather not run the entire cable to one ear and then jump from left to right like the stock design, i'd rather let it Y about a foot from my head and have the twisted pairs go to each ear.
 
What have you guys used for aesthetically pleasing strain reliefs / entry points? Hopefully you know what I am referring to. I want it to look like it could have been original, not like I just drilled a hole and stuck wires through it.

To protect the cable at the cups drill a small hole to get the wire in and tie a small knot on the cup side.
 
To protect the Y joint.  Qables sells a Y casing: http://www.qables.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=76_93&zenid=8f8e4d4bd5cda145103d8d788400edd9
 
Others just get creative with heat shrink tubing to create a solid/stable joint.
 
 
To make the cable look nice a lot of people use nylon multifiliment.  A thicker piece up to the Y and then thinner after the split.

I'm looking for something along the lines of the Darth Beyer strain reliefs as I think they look good aesthetically. I don't like the look of the wire just diving into a bare hole and then me knotting it behind. Know what I mean?

Took a look at some screenshots and it looks like heatshrink tubing to me.
 
Maybe someone will know the heat shrink brand headphile uses. 
 
If there is no built in strain relief on the inside you will still need to tie a knot/loop of some kind to keep the cable in place. 
 
One of the pages on their site describes it as 'military grade, glued heat shrink'.  There are many kinds of adhesive heat shrink.

I'm also very interested in where to find similar grommets/strain relievers to those used with Moon Audio's Denon + Beyer cables.

You can use simple rubber grommets to give hole a clean look and use heat shrink to fatten the cable at the entry.
 
The moon audio stuff look like a combined cable entry and grommet.   Something like this round grommet, but in a rectangular shape.   The non solid ones look like the generic strain relief items you can find anywhere.  A variety of styles on this page: http://www.uniteduniversal.com/pro-strainjunct.html
