So, I listen to post-hardcore (like screamo) and want a IEM with a good bass and good, well, everything xD. I am kind of in a hurry to write this, and i'm new to Head-Fi, so excuse the newbiness.
 
Any recommendations?
 
Genre: Post-Hardcore, Screamo, Rock, maybe Alternative/Pop sometimes.
Price Range: <$90

Good bass I would say the Shure SE215, retail for usually around $99 but I'm sure with the Christmas sales just around the corner, you should be able to snatch one up for under or around $90.

Se215 for your genre. I listen to ABR, foo fighters, mcr, muse, 30stm... List goes on. Se215 is good for very fast punchy drum bass. But is terrible for edm and hip hop/rap. The sub bass is non-existent for that.

Said no to shure 215 own both 215 and ltd 215 bass and high is good THAT ALL lows is the worst compare to others brand 215 Single dynamic and cost you 90?... JVC FXT90 Dual Dynamic Speaker same price lows is 100% better than shure Bass is even better than 215 by 50% go do some research for JVC FXT90 and Shure 215 JVC wins 101%

The Klipsch X10 is only $85 on Amazon and they have good bass and good detail as well.  At $85 they're a bargain and well worth it imo, that's why I got a pair yesterday.

Disagree on SE215 being poor choice for EDM. I listen to it almost 80% of the time, and am often surprised by the bass in songs. I've had mine for 8 months, though, and only have to EQ the mids down a hair for my liking.

To many people get hung up on bass when it comes to EDM, bass is small part of the whole thing.  I DJ'd for about 8 years and also produced with 2 guys from Dallas that are still putting out records and for me the best IEM's for EDM are warmer mid-centric IEM's with natural bass response.  The SM3 is the best IEM that I've heard for EDM hands down because it has plenty of bass and fantastic mids which is where 75 to 80% of the music is with EDM especially trance and progressive.  I'm not saying bass isn't important because it is but to many people think its all about highs and bass and that's the wrong way to look at it imo.  The SE215 would be fine for EDM, it has plenty of punch and the sub-bass isn't that bad plus bass is the easiest thing to EQ without messing with the other frequencies.
