hey guys, i've been thinking about upgrading my sound card for my PC.
I have no idea where to start (as of currently i have a basic card that came with my PC).

any advice?

What's your price range? What do you plan on using your sound card to do?

If you play games and listen to music, I think most will suggest getting a Prelude.

If you don't plan on playing games, you will be better served getting a dedicated DAC, such as Emu404.
